EDIT: (Due to the artist wanting me not to use one of the images for CC, and because my issue has been dealt with anyway, I'm just taking down this whole post. Sorry.)

nickst3r, I took a look at the tattoos you posted. The card tattoo has a faint artifact line that encircles the entire card. It's very difficult to see this in a 2D editor because it is so faint but in Studio and in the game the artifact is showing up very clearly. To see it better you can add a layer to your image and bucket fill it so it's a solid darker color and then zoom in really close. I did that and erased the artifact from the right side of the card. I left the left side part that the blue arrows are pointing at: In Studio the arrows are indicating the artifact that I left behind and on the right the edge of the tat is clean. I couldn't see anything wrong with the skull tattoo...what is there about it that doesn't look how you want it? To me the appearance of it matches the image. Ryu (Gabriel Quinn), I'm downloading your .package and will take a look

Ryu (Gabriel Quinn), I've looked at one of your tattoos and you have an issue similar to the one above. It's difficult to see unless you put a darker background behind the tattoo image but there is artifact all around the entire thing. I should have picked a color other than grey because the artifact is fading a little into it but you can still clearly see it. I erased a portion of it at the edge indicated by the arrow and between the two branches just above. In Studio the lines there are now gone while the rest is still highlighted with a white rim like artifact. The only way I know of to get rid of that is to erase it. I'm assuming the others you posted have the same issue but if I'm mistaken on that let me know and I'll look at those also.

Thank you very much, orangemittens, while your direct answer didn't exactly directly help, you gave me a keyword I needed to find a tool that fixed the issue. I just needed the word 'artifact' to have something on Google to search! Funny what little details can fix a problem in a way you didn't intend. Thanks! I'm going to post these up on MTS and credit you with helping (little bits of info you've given me on other projects have also definitely helped me figure stuff out, so you definitely deserve credit).

We have the Creator Studio section here that you're welcome to post in. I don't go to MTS after their moderator called me a bullshitter and deleted my helpful posts in the Create section there.

We have the Creator Studio section here that you're welcome to post in. I don't go to MTS after their moderator called me a bullshitter and deleted my helpful posts in the Create section there. Oh wow, uncool... I might make one, but I didn't feel like I really merited one since I don't really make CC, this is my first one I've done 'on my own'. Also, I just talked to the original artist for the Ouroboros image, and he said he made that for a friend for a memorial thing, so I'm taking that one down. I'll put the wolves up, though. Is it okay for me to post a tattoo CC that is actually someone else's work, but needed some updating (and re-tagging in my opinion), and the mod creator hasn't been around in about a year? If so, I'll put up a studio, since I'll have at least 3 items for it.

Yeah...it kinda was. Of course if you've created content you're welcome to have a Studio! The Creator Studios are not designed to tell creators what to do and there is no rule on how many things you must create in order to open one. There are many people who have opened a Studio with a single creation...making things for the game takes time and inclination. If someone has the time and inclination for one thing now and posts it, and then loses either time or inclination, that takes nothing away from the value of the single thing they shared IMO. It's absolutely fine to share something in your Studio that is someone else's work as long as their TOU allows it. If they don't have a TOU I would try to contact them for permission.

They aren't contactable, and they don't have a TOU. I did have to search a while to find it, and everything I read suggests the original creator meant to post it (he did, just in a kind of out of the way place as MTS didn't have a TS4 section at the time), but he fell off the map before properly uploading it and none of the sites connected to him are updated past the end of 2014.
I would, of course, credit him, and I tend to credit everyone that helps me with CC (unless I space out and forget, and I'd go back and edit it if that were the case and I remembered later). As for the studio thing, I'm aware that I could make a studio with only one object (or at least, that the rules didn't suggest I'd be forbidden from doing so), but it's more of a me thing... I just feel more comfortable knowing I've got more to post than just a couple of items I only had a small hand in, and a relatively simple CC job. If my one mod was something like MC Command or something, then yeah, no problem. It's kind of a 'peer' thing, I want to feel like I earned a studio by putting in some real work.

Hey Guys! There was a question on Bakie 's youtube channel that intrigued me... Can you add dynamic lighting to tattoos? Oh, and Merry Christmas to all!

I need some help understanding why does tattoo looks different than on the texture I made. I had an idea to make a kiss on the cheek tattoo. I use Sugar version 2.6.0.8 and import the texture in PNG. I cloned tattoo on the hand and in warehouse switched Body type to the mask (I later realized that choosing mask for cloning would be better than tattoo on the hand which would not be visible in CAS), but I don't that it has anything with the problem. I imported an image and noticed that it has some dark spots on the texture and when I looked at RLE texture on the warehouse tab I noticed that texture got a few dark spots after importing. As I understand that the picture is highly compressed when imported since original texture is 32.7kb and RLE is only 3.2kb, so what I see on RLE texture are artifacts after compression. Here is the picture oh zoomed textures for comparison. So my question is how to fix this, how to avoid this? Thank you in advance. And here is the link to the file in case if I didn't explain well or there is not enough information. www.dropbox.com/s/mxu60z7u6q7er70/Feyona_kiss_tattoo.package?dl=0UPD. I decided to try to save the texture in DDS format. It helped, but I still would like to know if it's possible to save import PNG files without loosing in quality.

Hey Guys! There was a question on Bakie 's youtube channel that intrigued me... Can you add dynamic lighting to tattoos? Oh, and Merry Christmas to all! I don't think it's possible as a tattoo doesn't have a mesh like clothing does. But I did saw someone whol added some sort of light to a tattoo, I only don't know how that was done. I thought it was someone here on S4S, but it was also uploaded to MTS.
