I've made some wood objects and while they look good in Studio in game the reflect a ton of shine and they look like plastic :( While I did blank the specular they still seem to be very shiny...anything else I can do to achieve the "wood"-ish look I'm going for?

Sometimes there's also a problem with the normals. And you need to split edges in order to look good. Check THIS

Mathcope --Yep you were right! I applied the modifier and everything is much better now inabadromance -- Since everything is ok I quess you won't need the mesh and the package but here's a photo anyways:

The modifier is the easy way, however since it splits a mostly all the mesh sometimes you don't get the wanted result. You can also select edges by hand and Ctrl+E/Split edges to do it manually when needed.
