Hi all, thanks a lot for the feedback, it gives the best feelings of not beeing alone with sometimes tricky things, e.g. software, where we spent a lot of time but also find a lot of creativity and satifaction at least.
Thanks for the link, I just started looking through but it is not yet ready, I have to download and try out surely. But my first impression is that there is the same idea behind. And I do not forget what Mathcope already said, TS4 it's a game with low poly meshes. I am realistic enough to adjust my primary intention to that, but clearly try to find out what can be done.
Also I think I have to correct my speaking when I said walls. I used this word to describe the looking, the appearance that I wish to get. But I think as you said it is no true wall like that in the game it is a kind of wall decoration similar to mirrors on the wall because I need still an existing mesh - at the moment I use the mesh of a mirror or a button. Then I erase all the faces of the mesh in the wire frame edit mode of blender in connection with this great, great Harmony TS4-Studio. Until one face remains.
This single face is then the start point for the new mesh. It is connected to the total warehouse programming of the TS4-Studio export file *.package and *.blend. And with the following switches between blender - the TS4-Studio - and the TS4-basegame I can trace the effects of my modification step by step. The backbone of the initially exported warehouse programming in the TS4-Studio export files is so good and stable that I had no crashes due to incompatibilities, I think. The only limit is the file size.
Concerning file size I learned from you already the direction I have to go. But I am doubtful concerning the option using otherones work like the warehouse programming. I heard about maxis strict conservative politics and I am not sure using the warehouse programming as I wrote above.
That is a great request, petition from my side that could solve this "problem" (in case this is possible at all in this way):
Does it give "free" parts of warehouse programming that can be shared without thinking always on any corruption or unwanted problems? I mean a kind of "master-sample" of backbone warehouse programming - opimal already with glossy, shiny, mirror and wet effects? Free to share for everyone wishing be creative without IT-knowledge and beeing a lawyer. That would be really great!!!
My thinking is in the direction like the mods of skyrim, they invited to use the creation kit. But I am not sure with maxis, if I use their warehouse backbone programming as described above.
Why is this point so important for me at the moment? Because of the way I do the mod at the moment. All my following creations will be build on that base described above. Everybody will and can see what the base is in case I would share the modifications. So I think it is better to know what could happen.
I read the introduction of Peacemaker's website and agree with him in that point that the modifications are an act of balance between doing for myself and sharing/presentation. Very intersting point, you know.
TS4 is fun and the TS4-Studio is very, very great fun - I like even more the creative aspects than playing as it is.
I put some printscreens together - the button before and the "button" after. In game still missing find/install the correct size/dimensions and the adjusted strength of the effect, perhaps compression or other creative ideas will follow. But really needed is to my opinion for me a warehouse similar backbone. Otimal when shiny, glossy and mirror effects are included. Unfortunately the button I took is not shiny, not glossy no mirror - why I selected this button to start? I do not know, I simply started. But my wish would be the glossy, shiny, wet bathroom tiles on the wall of the basegame, but I did not see until now such tiles with a mesh-part, perhaps I have overseen some tiles like this, or the community have already such wall tiles? I should have a look for Peacemakers soution first.
Please write to me again if you can help me - Thanks a lot in advance.
