Thanks OM! I just deleted my earlier post actually, as I found a solution. (I too was looking to separate a merged package, but I found I didn't actually need to.) What I was trying to do is recolor one item in a merged CC package. I found OrangeMittens' tutorial for recoloring CC packages and found that if I placed the CC package in the Documents/Sims4Studio/Mods folder and followed her directions, Studio would then let me select the package I wanted to edit from within the merged package. (Thanks again OM!) This may even work for deleting, in a roundabout way? Maybe if you followed those steps and used Studio to clone the object(s) from the packages you want to keep, you could then save those as new packages and then use those without having the other package you'd like to delete?

ayradyss, unfortunately the merged package I have contains recolors of every top from sims 4 base game and I'm only trying to delete one of those package. It would be work to re-recolor the ones I want to retain, but it's definitely a solution. Mathcope & orangemittens , thank you for your replies. I'll just wait for the feature then. Good day.

Studio is not yet able to delete a single .package from a merged.package. This feature is on the list of things to add to Studio. Are there any programs that can do this? I really need to delete something :(

Studio is able to view the contents of merged.packages using the My CC feature. Editing those files (changing anything about them) using the My CC feature is not supported, and I do not recommend it. I cannot guarantee a good result if you open a merged .package and make changes to an individual item within it using Sims 4 Studio. We plan to add more to Studio's ability to work with merged .packages but this has not yet been added.

jmacsims You can use the "My CC" button in Studio. If your merged .package is in your mods folder it will be displayed there. You can remove other .packages into the merged one. All .packages on it should be displayed in a list when you click on the main one.i have S4S on Mac... there is no MY CC button... how do i go about doing this now?
