Since the toddlers update, a lot of my cc has been glitching. The thumbnails won't load in CAS although it still shows up in s4s and on the sim once I click on it with the exception of very few items. To be fair, I have a lot of extremely old cc (like from 2015) which most likely wouldn't be compatible with the new patch. I'm not too bothered about deleting it because it's affecting the gameplay a little but is there any way to fix any of the cc it if it's broken?
Also, could it have something to do with the resource.cfg file being added after I updated the game? I reset my sims 4 folder because I thought my save file was corrupted.

  I have found, just a couple of minutes ago stat suddenly Windows made copies of some CC in some folders, and saved it as a hidden file with a stange name. The name on my computer is "._NameofCC.package". Beware that you cant search for hidden files in the search bar, but have to go through all the folders Turn on hidden files in your folder properties and delete the hidden files. Hope this also helps! |

Is there no other tips for this? It's about to be April and I'm still having this same issue and this was the only forum I could find where someone else is dealing with what I'm dealing with.

Unfortunately I had to redownload all of the cc I had before but after that, the game started functioning again

sweetdnlg, have you tried to use the option to fix your cc through S4s? Launch S4S, go over to Tools, in the drop down menu select Batch Fixes. Another menu will show for CAS,Objects and Misc. Otherwise you may need to check with the creator to see if they have updated that item.
