This is my first piece of CC and I've ran into an issue with the shadow/texture. I followed this video to resize the object. I then did some recolors. In S4S it looks fine, however, when I get the object in game it has this weird shadow on part of it. This shadow is there no matter what the lighting conditions of the room are or the angle you view the object. That shadow is also on the thumbnail image in the catalog. I cleared the specular and bump per this thread. I also cleared the occluders per advice in this thread. None of that seems to have helped. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Using S4S v3.0.0.8, Photoshop CS6 for recolors, and Blender 2.8 for mesh edit.

If you're seeing something like this the issue is probably a normals problem. : To see the cause, open the .blend, put your mouse over the 3D view window, and click the n key on your keyboard to bring up the sidebar menu. Click to see the normals. This will cause blue lines to appear all over your mesh. If you look at these on your vase, you will see some vertices have a single blue line, and others have two. The ones that have two blue lines are causing the problem (the game perceives these as two separate edges and lights them differently): To get rid of them you can use Blender's "remove doubles" feature on the vase part. Be careful not to use this on the plant part because it can mess with the two-sidedness of the leaves. You can use the lowercase L on your keyboard to select chunks of the vase part all at once which makes it quick: Once you've removed the doubles, you may notice that the edges aren't crisp where they should be anymore. This needs to be fixed, or else the vase won't look right in the game. To do that you can use Blender's "edge split" modifier (the picture below shows the vase after remove doubles has been applied. The white arrow is pointing out that all the vertices are marked by a single normal) All modifiers need to be applied in Object Mode, so switch to that before clicking the Apply button. You will need to pick an edge split angle. For this vase, because it has some angles you want to restore that aren't 90 degrees, I chose 45 degrees: Once the modifier is applied, save the .blend and import that back into the .package. You may note a slight change in the brightness of the mesh upon importation. Test in the game:
