Hey guys i'm trying to make some buns and little pigtails for toddlers that are hats, but no matter WHAT i've tried, it still uses the hat chops and not the main hair and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've mapped them to the hat area, and checked the weight paints and it all looks good. here's my blender file: link |

hi! You should clone another as a base item instead. Clone an accessory bracelet, then change it's category to HAT. It's much easier that way in my opinion.
Remember to edit the "region map" items of string on the warehouse so that it says "base".

inabadromance, I just tried to change Region map, like you said on hat, and it's worked! So you don't even need to take another category's item for a clone! Thank you for your advise!
