Why is it that I can't get a response o my questions am I not asking for the question correctly or am I simply being ignored on purpose? Not trying to be rude or mean but I just don't understand?

missiepooh45 No one is ignoring you. If anybody has responded is likely because either they didn't see it or they don't know the answer. For example, I don't really understand what you mean with your question. Can you elaborate a little more on what you're trying to accomplish? What do you mean with a mesh with a texture? You want to import it to blender, but from where?

Mathcope: I imported a mesh with a cloth texture from Marvelous Designer and I followed all of the steps per MD TUT on here to do the the rest of what needed to be done in blender, but when I try to import into s4s the cloth texture does not show. Can you please explain that to me or do I need to download a picture. No shade intended but it has been a couple of days since I posted my question. I was just wondering if I was being ignored was all. Thank you for your prompt response today.

missiepooh45 That is because Studio doesn't import textures from Blender. You need to export the UV layout and texturize it in a 2d editor. You can read more about UVs if you're not familiar with the concept HERE, HERE and HEREBasically, the Uv is the projection of the faces, edges and vertices of your 3d mesh, We export its layout from Blender and then paint over it to create a texture. This texture is called the diffuse and then you have to import it to Studio separately of the mesh.

missiepooh45 it also helps to create your own thread instead of commenting on something that isn't quite related. The original post talks about milkshape, and you're having issues with marvelous design to blender.

oh i'm sorry! i read wrong, i thought you where talking about Marvelous Designer! My bad!! Have you tried importing it via the warehouse? You have to check each model and click the "import" button below the preview. I've stopped using milkshape a long ago due to the very old UI and overall feel of the program. I know that you dislike Blender, but i suggest you give it a try. it does exactly what milkshape does but with many more features and much faster. I'm sorry, i can not help you more with this. inabadromance I know this is an old thread but how do you import directly into the warehouse? I am trying to make a fence which cant be done in sims 4 studio. i made it in tswr and am able to open it in s4s... but when i try to import a model it only lets me import a binary file? any help would be appreciated! thanks!
