Those kiddie hairs are so adorable, and I've tried to convert some of them to adults, but it hasn't worked. I'm probably doing something wrong, but what? What is the correct conversion procedure?

Well I converted a toddler hair a while ago and I did this.
Open S4Studio. Go to CAS-Create a 3d mesh. Choose the child hair you want to convert. Optional:If you're gonna use the texture then I suggest selecting all swatches (Shift then click on all hair colors) Optional:Export the texture. Go to Meshes, then Export the mesh.
Go back to Studio main screen. Choose CAS-create a 3d mesh again. Choose an adult hair. Export the mesh.
Open both meshes in blender. Copy the child hair mesh (B to select then Ctrl+c to copy) Go to the adult mesh and paste (Ctrl+V) Delete the adult hair mesh. Move the child hair mesh (G to move) Resize it till it fits the head. (I dunno if I'm right but I ususally set the GEOM to 0000 here.)(Scroll down to where it says S4Studio Cas tools)
Open Studio again. I usually go for 3D mesh again. Import mesh. Make sure to import it for all LODs or if you zoom out in game it will look weird. Import textures. Choose if you want to allow it for the opposite gender/for random (this means random townies can spawn with it)/ect. Save the package and then test it.
