I just downloaded this today to create a recolour but when I tried to find the item I wanted it wasn't there. When I tried filtering by packs I realised that none of the base game items are there, just the ones from other packs I own. Does anyone know what causes this, or how to fix it?

Hello missyblue. Did you configure the path to the game folder? You can do it by pressing "Settings".

Yeah that's done, it should just go to the Sims 4 folder, not anyting inside that, right?

I tried uninstalling and installing it in case that worked but there's still no base game items. Does anyone have any other ideas?

If you filter by pack you will not see base game items. You will only see the items in the pack you are filtering by.

kimosabe032 , if you cannot see any items at all, then it sounds like you have a different problem than the one the original poster of this thread has. Try clicking settings and making sure that Studio has your correct game path. If it does, Try deleting your Documents\Sims 4 Studio\ folder and restart Studio.

Hi kimosabe032, what is the game path you are giving Studio? If it's the same path that Andrew showed above, you may need to use Origin's repair game app. Studio is not finding installed game files, and this is the reason you do not see a thumbnail list. This could result from the wrong path, game files that aren't properly installed, or corrupt game files.
