Those who make items for Sims 4 will notice that there is only one colouring UV Map available (uv_1 is for morphing). This is an issue when you want to use large UV Maps for clothing for it will overlap the skin. I am wondering, would it be possible to create a UV Map just for clothing? UV_0 will be used for skin and UV_2 will be used for clothing, so no overlapping.

I'm not really sure if i'm understanding what you're asking or suggesting. This is how the game reads the meshes. All must be under 1 uv map, and 1 texture. Adding new uv maps will not do anything but be avoided by the game engine.

Is there a way to get the game to read a new uv map?
