so apperently you can do the custom snow globes the way i had hoped, well more or less. i have only tried this one so far. it could have been anything instead of a tree but i couldnt change the color of the 'petals' from the original sakura tree so i kept it a tree but just changed the tree to suit my theme . i want to do some more cause ive been wanting to create a ridicilous snow globe collection and now i can just make it myself so im so happy. i do wish there were other meshes and styles of snow globes around cause i really do love them but alas i just thought id get some input on these. if anyone has tried playing with them in studio maybe they could clue me in where the effects you know like the falling leaves the animated stuff in the globes can be changed like color wise at least.

Hi sammoyke ! As far as I can tell, it seems to have to do with the tuning of the object and that there are some 'standard' effects according to which snowglobe you clone it from. So it's not going to be as easy as changing the color of the petals in PS :( For now, it seems there's a 'pink petals effect' and a 'white snow effect' and then some other according to the other snow globes, like cars crossing the bridge, the plumbob one glowing etc. Don't know if that helps? Maybe Bakie can help out more?

Hi sammoyke , First of all, that's an awesome idea! As for the color of the effects, we still don't know how we can change those or the shape, so I'm afraid that isn't possible yet. You can change the effect itself by changing something in the tuning. To do this, first copy the TuningID in the Definition line. Then go to Tools and click Extract tuningGo to the search bar and paste your just copied tuningID in there, in my case: object_Collectible_CityLife_SnowGlobe_01Select it and click on Add to current package. Close the window and scroll all the way down. There should be a line called Object TuningClick it and scroll down until you see a part like this: Behind effect_name you will find the code for the effect that's used. So in this case ep03_snowglobe_set1In the Effects list that Andrew provided by The Effect Player you will find all other codes that can be used: ep03_snowglobe_set1 ep03_snowglobe_set10 ep03_snowglobe_set12 ep03_snowglobe_set13 ep03_snowglobe_set14 ep03_snowglobe_set15 ep03_snowglobe_set2 ep03_snowglobe_set5 ep03_snowglobe_set7 ep03_snowglobe_set8 ep03_snowglobe_set9 ep03_snowglobe_snow
snowglobe_building_light_left snowglobe_building_light_right snowglobe_car snowglobe_goth_house snowglobe_lighthouse snowglobe_lighthouse_meta snowglobe_meteor_explosion snowglobe_meteor_explosion_cam snowglobe_meteorsReplace the Effect_name with one of those "ep03"'s to get a different effect. Then finally Click the Data tab and give it your own TuningName, so something like Sammoyke:ObjectNameDataTimeThen press Enter and copy-paste the name into the definition line's TuningID. I just replaced the one with the tree to a snowy effect and made the tree into my BakieGaming Icon:

Thanks Bakie! You know more about Tuning than me Haha, I made a Hogwarts snowglobe when I tested this! It's not centred because I wanted to test the effect but here's my quick tinkering:
