I'm making some human versions of a few my little pony characters, and i thought it'd be neat if i could actually make Derpy hooves have crossed eyes. for those of you who don't know the character, it's this one:
is it possible to create crossed eyes for a sim?

Hello @reitanna , it is possible if you use an eye accessory and recolor it. EA's eyes mapped on the same place, therefore if you change the position of iris, both eyes will look one way. But with eye accessory you can make it work. This is how Ms. Blue Heterochromia eyes were done. and this was my attempt to make a "lazy eye" long time ago. So it will work.

how were you able to move the eye like that? I have an eye accessory that's two toned eyes, but I notice they're more like thick contact lenses than eye masks. with this specific accessory, it seems like they indeed look like eye masks, where you can't see the original eye behind it. I assume you just need to move the image's placement on the texture, right? i'll play around with it, if you have any tips, let me know. and thanks!

You need to move the uv map of your accesory eye to another place that won't conflict. The Heterochromia eyes Feyona posted have it mapped in "Extra Parts" . Look at this template.

Look at this template. thank you, but fortunately I already know that eye masks are different than actual eyes! most of the ones I have are found in "face paint," but the one I mentioned was put into "rings." anyway...
Feyona, I played with it, and holy carp! IT WORKED! this is soooo super helpful, and I cannot thank you enough! sorry if I sound like I'm gushing, I'm a novice at CC, so when something works right, I get excited. >_< anyway, thanks again!

Confrats, @reitanna! Glad that you were able to achieve it. And I can relate to that feeling . I still get almost goosebumps when somethings that I am new works out.
