Seeing as how video recording is a majority of my fun w ith the game I really need to increase my visual performance for recording. The only real issue I have is lag. It's sometimes not that bad at all but other times just horrible. I have upgraded my computer for the game before and it helped so I was wondering if I had to do so again. I have 8 gigs of memory, ive considered going to 16 but was told if 8 didnt do the job i needed 16 gigs wouldnt help much further.
currently i have AMD 7650k Radeon R7 4c+6g 3.3o GHx 64 bit OS 8 gb ram
my frame rate when recording is often either very low or extremely high and neither are a good thing lol. iif anyone has any advice of upgrades for this problem I would appreciate it

Also another problem that is slightly in the same field of issue I have this double frame imaging goin on when i do green screen and it literally ruins the frame. I have sorta worked around it before but now i just want to fix it cause it shouldnt be doing this. In the game it absolutely does not have repeat the frame this way so why is it recording it like this?

i have the same problem with my game. my game runs "ok" when i play, but sometimes starts getting really laggy. and it's something to do with my computer, but it lags out everything. like chrome and any other game i have. and the only way i can fix it is to restart my computer, but eventually it just lags out all over again. and it's really bad when im starting to record my game, because even when it's running fine i can look through the video i just made and it jumps from one frame to about 5 frames ahead.

yes the skipping while recording is the worst :( i really would like to solve this issue but i fear its an ongoing performance issue that just regular upgrading wont fix that but im hoping

sammoyke, Which program do you use to record your screen? I've got the lagging too, badly need a new pc as my laptop just isn't good enough. I use OBS myself and already used these tips: High CPU usage For me that isn't good enough but as you got a far better PC, maybe it will do the trick for you.

I use bandicam to record. ill give this article a read and see what it has to offer. I record and upload my videos in HD so cutting down any graphics or resolution settings won't be an option i want to take. I want to increase performance without needing to sacrifice quality, im prepared to upgrade hardware for that purpose.
