I took that leather vest in the base game and erased the bra and under shirt, but there was an "invisible" under shirt, so I thought it was the normal. fixed those, but it didn't change the vest. exported the mesh, found out that it's the MESH that's shaped that way. I tried to fix it, but it didn't work out.
I was wondering if someone would be willing to assist me and fix the mesh?

on the EA leather vest, the diffuse map has an undershirt and bra. I erased those two things, but, as you can see from the picture, the mesh is actually modeled with a little edge where the undershirt texture was supposed to go. I want it to be smooth, but I can't figure out how to fix it. I'm... honestly not sure how to be more clear XD

I am no CAS expert, but I think the preview has the bra as default, even if it isn't there. Does it have bra in game?

What Leniad said. You will also have to edit the bump (normal)

and like I said in my original post, "so I thought it was the normal. fixed those, but it didn't change the vest. exported the mesh, found out that it's the MESH that's shaped that way."
it's not the normal (bump) map, it's the mesh. I exported it and opened it in blender, and my pictures are showing exactly as they show in blender, because normal maps don't show in S4S. I need help fixing the mesh so that that ledge in between the breasts isn't there, it has nothing to do with textures. I really didn't think I was unclear about that in my post because I said this already AND provided a picture. should I take a screenshot of the mesh in blender instead? maybe that'll make it more obvious?

I think you mean the bridge of mesh that lies between the breasts to give the illusion of fabric being stretched across them. In the pic below, you can see it as black tee-shirt covered mesh. Just removing the texture won't get rid of that mesh bridge. All it will do is make it a flesh colored bridge instead of a tee-shirt colored bridge. You need to either re-mesh that section or frankenmesh the parts of the top you want with the nude top. I can't tell from your post if you're asking for help with your project or requesting that someone make it for you. If it's the former, post what you have so far so someone can help. If it's the latter let me know and I'll move this thread to the request section.

yes, that's exactly what I was talking about. I'm asking if someone would be willing to fix that for me so it's not there, or give me step by step EXTREMELY DETAILED instructions to let me do so. like "blender for dummies" style. all I need is that ledge gone, and then it'll be exactly what I need.
