The Mission: Render teeth invisible.
The Original Plan: Create a standalone recolor of teeth cc and remove the mesh. (Spoilers, it didn't quite work.)
The New Plan: Create a recolor with an invisible texture (which I'm assuming is how mods like Simvisible work.)
The Problem: I'm not sure what I need to do to create an invisible texture...
The Question: What is the best process for such a procedure? Would creating a blank texture work? (Like taking the original teeth texture and erasing it?) Or is there some other way I can do this? (By the way I'm a mac user so I'm doing this on the latest appletini)
**Bonus** **Not necessary to answering my questions**
The Backstory: I've been desperately searching on a quest to make a completely invisible sim--in fact I've come so close so many times that it's brought me to tears! I've made requests but no one it seems is interested. So, though I have no experience with this sort of thing I'm taking what meager knowledge I have and seeing if it's even possible to do this myself.
Why am I trying to get an invisible sim? Simple: I want to use the studio camera to take scenic shots in the game. I have a mod that separates the camera from it's backdrop so you can use it anywhere. Awesome! Except that you can only take pre-selected pose shots of sims. But, I figured if you take a picture of an INVISIBLE sim, then you're able to take a picture of whatever is behind it! :D
I know there's a screenshot feature in the game, I know you can make cc pictures out of these screenshots. But to a simple person like me (who's appletini crashes every time I try to edit an object anyway) it's far too complicated if I want something as simple as a family portrait to hang in my sims' home.
