I'm seconding Inabadromance. Subdividing the mesh helps to achieve better results when it comes to uv_1 transfer. Much better results. They won't be perfect due to different structure of EA and MD meshes (polygons placed in a different way). MD meshes will morph differently unless you do retopology of the mesh (take a look here to see how another creator retopolgized custom mesh to adapt it for game standards). I haven't done it yet, and it's not a trivial task for beginner. Thanks so much feyona! I am currently doing this Will update soon

Update: So I tried the subdivide method and it didn't smooth it out at all.. in fact it made it more rough and made the tris increase a lot

Subdivide the mesh that you transfer data from. Not your mesh. And your picture is too small to see what's wrong. You can post big picture and hide it in spoiler tags.

Okay so everythihng is fine lol, after trial and error and restarting again. I only have one more problem and it's the uv_1. I followed the tutorial by eliavah but the mesh isn't just doing the data transfer properly. I honestly don't know what else to do, because I've done this over and over again, but the data transfer looks nothing like displayed in the video and tutorial from eliavah's thread? Meaning when she does the data transfer, there's a new texture on the mesh which is like the sims skin? It doesn't do that for me. I'm not sure what's going on lol but here is the blender file if anyone wants to take a look at it. download

hi! Your uv_1 looks fine at first glance. The issue relies on the fact that you have a lot of different materials applied to the mesh. Just clic each material except the first one and delete them by pressing the - button next to that box.

Okay I have deleted the extra materials. I went in game and the sliders still don't work with the mesh, although skinny sims seem to fit fine?

I had the same issue in the past but could unfortunately not fix it at the time. UV_1 was made and good and vertex paint as well but the sliders were still not available in game. I recently faced this problem and I had forgotten the vertex painting on my mesh. I see that you did it here. But I would suggest maybe to change the vertex paint on the dress itself. You can change the paint to 007F00 and keep the skin the way it is to see if the game take it into account now. You should get something like that in blender

Did that method work for you? I'll definitely give it a try later today

I didn't know much at the time so I could not try it.
But like I said, last week, I could not select a piece of clothing to test the uv_1 on a mesh and it was a vertex paint issue. Of course because I had forgotten it. So my guess here is that for whatever reason the game is not "seeing" the vertex painting on your mesh either as you cannot select the sliders through the dress. Hopefully it helps (it's not complicated to change, just select all the vertices from the dress then switch to vertex paint mode, click on the red and white icon at the bottom to activate the vertex selection. Choose the color on the palette and shift+k to apply it)

you can use the eye drop tool on vertex mode by clicking the color wheel to find it. then click on the green that is on the skin to pick that color. head over to the main lower menu to paint all the mesh that color.

Just updating the progress on this, I opened up the blender file and checked the vertex and it looks fine (just as in the picture). I am going in game right now to see if its changed at all

Hi, the picture I uploaded was after I modified the vertex paint as I mentioned. There is 2 taint of green in the picture that you have not on your mesh. Anyway as I am home today I went ahead and tried it out and it worked out : It is also possible that the simple fact that I created a whole new package to import the blender solved the issue for whatever reason ^^.

Zelrish oh my god! That's great Could you send the .blend file? I tried to do the color picker and then choose the color of the skin and then paint all, but it just didnt look like that at all :c
