I created a new clothing mesh from an item and now when I go into game there are lines and blocks through and behind the outfit. For example if I go into create a sim and place the outfit on the sim then click to save the sim to my gallery the images that pop up have lines and blocks through the clothing and sim. Is there anyone who could help, I could send you the package?

Hello spectachick . Please share the .package and .blend and actual pictures what you see in the game. It's difficult to understand what is going on without seeing pictures and files. And also quoting rules: Introduction - Give your thread a descriptive title that provides a general idea of what the issue is.

i took the long dress and deleted all of the parts I didn't want then combine the new mesh with a nude top mesh and combine the nude top with a nude bottom. The outfit can be found in tops though. Ill add the pictures as well.

I am unable to access those pictures and attempting to do so made me feel I might end up with a computer virus. Please post pictures from an online storage space like Imgur, One Drive, or Dropbox.

I think you're mixing things a bit too much. If you want to create a dress, stick with cloning a dress outfit (or any simple outfit). If you want to create a top, then clone a top as a base. You can't have a top with bottom parts or it will overlap.

I think you see these spikes due to a different set of joint in your custom mesh and the one that in cloned .package. I know it happens if you use a swimming suit as a base (full body outfit without the skirt), but transfer the weight from mesh that has skirt, you get extra bones (L_skirt, R_skirt) that are not present in original .package. These bones make "spikes", and deleting them can help. I'll try to think later what is the best solution in your case. It seems you have extra bones that are not suppose to be in that .blend, but I don't know which bones.
