Hey there! I have a problem with a converted clothing mesh. When you zoom out pretty far, the mesh sort of distorts. Can someone explain to me, why this happens and how to fix it?

Have you replaced all of the LODS when you made the mesh?

Some lower lods on some items can act funny, you will have to upload and link your package and someone will be able to help you with a fix (not me I dont get along with CAS)

Hi,
Your mesh is split into 2 objects with 2 different cut numbers on the lod1 only. All your other lods have only one object. So, I'd say that's the issue ^^. simply merge the 2 objects on your lod1 with cut number 0000, re-import and you should be fine.

This issue is caused when the lower lods are imported with a joint that originally is not supposed to be there. Some clothes vary in the number of joints they have in each lods. So if you decimated the mesh and imported as it is to the lower lods, this might be the issue.
To fix it, you need to look at the LOD1, LOD2, and LOD3 of the original EA outfit you cloned to be the base for your own. Check in the weight section the list of each joint to see which ones need to be deleted from your LOD1, LOD2 and LOD3. If you don't want to do this. What I do is re-do the weighting for each LOD using the correspoding lod from the EA outfit I cloned. Make sure if you do this to remove the existing weights before transfering the new ones.

I guess I'm trying to redo it, but the problem is, that I already put it up for download. Is there a way, to create a completely new package that can replace another one. Saying if someone puts the updated version of it into his Mods folder that it actually replaces it.

Ok, I fixed it I think! I think, the issue was, that I used one dress as a base and another one for the weights and it kinda messed up with the single finger joint in LOD1. Thanks a lot for the help, guys!
