I'm still new to blender.. I was wondering if there was a way to fix these visible seams/holes in these shorts without redoing the mesh. Its a mesh edit I did. I cut off the mesh from the high waisted jeans from the City Living expansion pack.

Without the .package to look at I can only guess. It looks like the vertices are not merged in those areas in the 3D view and on the UV_0 and UV_1. Try that first and if it does not help please post again.

Hi, it seems to me that the mesh of these jeans is identical to the nude bottom, or underwear. Maybe I'm mistaken ... Why complicate, just erase part of the leg on the diffuse and edit the other maps. Do not touch the mesh. Such holes are removed by merging vertices.

Cutting off more of the diffuse didn't seem to help.. the package file is hereIn blender, i don't see the holes at all

It is clear in S4S that these areas are open. Merge the vertices and it should fix the issue. | |
On a side note I noticed that you used the same blend for all LODs. This can cause an issue with the lower LODs.

I used lod0 for all of the LODs, but I can go back and do the correct ones a little bit later. I really just wanted to fix the gap issue for now. Thank you for your help!
What is the best way to merge it without distorting the mesh?

The blender shows that the vertices are separated. Highlight the vertices. Tools / merge / in the center. And if you do not remove duplicates, there will be an ugly seam on your leg.

Is it supposed to look like this after I merge it?

You need to merge a vertex with the corresponding one. As the picture Bokuvka showed to you. One with the correspoding one in the leg. It seems you merged all of them into one. That will not show up correctly .

Allocate and connect in series I found the bottom on shorts. The legs are cut off unevenly. There is an intersection of geometry. We change the method. {Spoiler}Cut off the desired leg. No more and no less. On the development we select the lower row of vertices and shift them upwards. This should be done so that the texture of the shorts does not overlap the nude parts of the body. Select the lower row of vertices on one leg. Press S and expand a little. x=1.03, y=1.03, z=1.05 There is a small gap Press E (extrusion), and again S (reduce a little). x=0.97, y=0.97, z=0.93 We unite the legs and shorts. Accurately join the vertices, highlighting the top of the leg and the corresponding shorts. Do not grab the vertex of the outer part of the shorts. obtain correct closing holes.

Like bukovka said Its mostly just painted on, there is no mesh, it can just be deleted in photoshop or whatever You should only be deleting this bit of the mesh if any, even then you may not have too You are complicating it :D
