Hi TS4 Community, so I've been having trouble with my imported .obj that I've edited in Blender and imported in MD5 for simulation. I recently discovered that the mesh has to be welded/combined together in order to simulate but I'm not sure how to do that because the mesh isn't in the editor to combine? If anyone knows any solution please let me know! I've uploaded a help thread on the MD5 Forums for additional help there as well! I appreciate any help

hi! This section is solely for s4s support, and this asks only for marvelous designer. so i'm moving the thread over discussions.
As for the question, can you explain more about your project and what do you want to achieve?
The objects imported to marvelous can't be simulated for what i know. Only meshes done within the program can be simulated.

inabadromance Sorry about that! And I am trying to convert a mesh from blender to MD5, as the simulator there can snap the .obj mesh onto the sim (the original .obj mesh doesnt fit around some areas of the sim's body and editing vertices in blender is hard without distorting the shape. The first mesh I did wasn't from MD5 it was frm blender, but I randomly clicked buttons out of frustration and it somehow simulated onto the sim's body. I'm not sure how I did it lol.. But I made a thread on MD5's forum and two people posted on there if it'll help anyone. Note: I have yet to try this method but I will tomorrow and see if it works with the weld option clicked. www.marvelousdesigner.com/community/forum/TheCommons/9820

i see! I've scrolled through the thread and looks interesting. Though i don't have the latest version of MD so i wouldn't know. If the problem you're having is the avatar, then you can import the sims 4 avatar into MD so the meshes you create fit the body better... avoiding the need to go back a forward between programs. You can grab the avatar here.
