I just recently had to install all my programs back on my laptop and I noticed that now in Blender I no longer have the Section Under the 'Scene Tab' that has the Sims4Studio Cas Tools Option so that I can change the Cut number.
Is there a plugin I'm missing, and if so can someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you.
And Yes, I have tried Blender 2.70 and 2.76.

badman727, press File -> User preferences -> Addons -> Import/Export, in search window type "Studio". Do you see these plugins?

I've tried installing from file and selecting the io_sims.py and I get an error message when trying to enable it.

Hi badman727, have you exported a .blend from Studio since reinstalling? This step is necessary so that Studio can install the addon. The other step you tried is not recommended as the process is a bit more involved than just installing one .py.

It's interesting because I have this issue on my mac at work since forever. I am using a not updated version of the game and from studio now as I cannot update through the firewall. But even at the time it didn't work. orangemittens Would it be possible to get those 2 plugins so I can add them manually ? (And I have exported multiple times) I know the best would be to have everything up-to-date and see if the issue persists but I cannot really. |

Having the same issue here, using 2.79 on a mac, there's nothing under my Custom Properties in the Scene tab. No sign of the S4S add-ons in the import/export user setting area either.. I have exported and imported things before.
My LOD0 on a new item won't import (yet 1-3 do) and I'd like to see if it's a GEOM issue (though I'm only replacing a nude mesh top clone :-/ you'd think all LODS would be cut 0).
Is there a way to get a download for the plugins as Zelrish said?

Hi missdelarocha, Sims 4 Studio works with Blender 2.70, 2.76, and 2.78. It does not work with 2.79.

Ah you gem, 2.7 and .78 don't work on my mac but .76 I've just installed and it did the trick! I can see the tools now. Cheers!
