Hi, I am trying to replace world objects with other objects in game. eg. One of the Willow creek background houses with a skyscraper from city living. I have extracted both meshes and objects through using the debug menu in overrides. But I am stuck at how I can make one object reference the other. I have successful hidden all the background props in willow creek and windenburg using this method here sims4studio.com/thread/5578/hiding-props-specifically-cars. However I would like to know if anyone has any tips or advice in replacing one objects with the other.

hi! You have to export their meshes and import them back to each package individually.

hi! You have to export their meshes and import them back to each package individually. Hi, I wish it were that easy but the problem lies in the textures which are not exported with the mesh, and the old meshe's textures remain, and there are so many layers it's very tedious to go through each lod. I was just wondering if there were an easier way to make a mesh refrence another object instead?

I don't quite understand what you mean by "layers". You have to export the mesh and the textures as well. Doing it this way is much easier than editing all instance numbers of all lods and all textures.
