The Dj booth consists of 6 mesh parts with different Cut numbers. I work with Maya so i only have 1 mesha and the shadow in the end whenever I make it into 1 Mesh, with new Uv and texture and load it into Sims4Studio, the texture on the front part, which displays an animation ingame, has a wrong texture (when I load it in maya togetehr with the texture it has the correct texture) Do I have to replace only one mesh part in blender or how do I fix this?

hi! If the item has different groups and cut numbers then it should stay the same upon import. Each cut number calls for an specific function/texture. You can't group all that in 1 mesh.

Like inabadromance you need all the different mesh groups. When using maya you need to make the mesh to your liking, then separate it into different groups. Only glass needs to be matched up exactly or you will have shader issues, all the other mesh groups dont matter as long as you have them separate. Its easier workflow though to keep them similar but you dont really have too.

I'm not sure what you're referring on your first question. But the arrangement of each object is how you see them upon export. Depending on the object, the amount of groups (with their cut numbers) might change.
Is there a reason why you're using maya instead of blender? What type of modifications you'd like to do to the item?

I'm used to modify things with maya (custom models for league) and I'm kinda good at it and blender is just so weird to use for me, I would need to completely learn a new modelling programm and basically what I want to do is add something like a border to the top of the booth which is the DJ Sona 'weapon' from league of legends, but I want to actually keep all of the parts from the original Dj booth

Well then just pick the main group (where most of the object is). Delete the rest of the groups and export that as obj to open it in maya. Work with the object in there and when finised append the object to the original blend. What i'm referring to is, individually work with only the group you want to edit instead of mixing everything in one mesh. Does that would work?

I found my error, my uv was simply overlapping the part on the front, so the etxture didnt work out obviously^^
