hi! There's not really an easy way to do it. What you can do is copy both arms and paste them in another layer (separately). Then rotate each one and place them on each end of the front body part. You'll end up with a T shape. Create your tattoo for each arm on a separate layer. When finished. Select first one arm and it's tattoo layer and rotate it back in position to match the original location. Do the same with the other arm.

Yeah; I figured there was no easy way. =/ Anyway, I just want to do the one arm. I just couldn't find a picture that kind of matches what I wan but this one was close enough. Anyway, I got what you said from copying and pasting in another layer. However, I'm unlear on what you meant by rotating and placing them on the front body part. Would you mind explaining that a little better?

Sure! Sorry, it's never easy to explain photoshop since there's a lot of stuff that i take for granted and i've learnt many things over the years that i can't possibly explain in one post >.< I was referring to something like this. But i'm not sure if i'm complicating things or maybe you just would like to do trial and error until you get the desired position. It'll be like that either way. Here's the PSD if you want to use it.

Thank you hun. Last question. Would you be able to tell me how I'd be able to use that in Gimp? Sorry for the many questions but I don't have Photoshop at the moment. -_- inabadromance

I pulled the UV of a nude top, you can see where the skin texture actually starts and stops a lot better as there is no skin where there is no mesh.

I totally forgot that I made these templates long time ago, and was going to post on the forum. I updated the first post with body textures here in case if you need full body uv.

I'ms till highly confused. Look guys. I just want to do something like this: I know I'll have to recreate whatever that says on his arm; but I"m trying to make my own version of Sirius Black from harry Potter. He has that tattoo on his shoulder. I don't have to make that exact replica but I wanted to figure out how to do something like that where it goes somewhat across the upper breast chest to across the shoulder/arm. I don't understand all this uv stuff Lol. MisterS Feyona

everyone on the thread understands what you're going for that's why they are giving you the guidelines of the body. I don't use gimp so I'm sorry my psd isn't of use.
the uv guides you were the texture is read. when the front shoulder ends then the top arm starts. that's how the model reads the texture. you can just use strokes of colors on your texture to see how they appear on the preview. again, start by doing a trial and error or you'll not understand.

Alright. Thanks. Sorry if my last post sounded rude. That wasn't my intention.
