Hi, I want to know (help) if can I only make some part of mesh in transparency, not all mesh. Look at this image bellow, i want only that balls be transparent, not all abajur. Someone know how can I do it? Thank you!

I'm not sure what the mesh is or what you are cloning but if there is glass in cloned mesh you could use that to make the balls transparent. If not you could make that part of the texture transparent.

check out the tutorial here ,or what I do is start with a mesh that has the right transparencys such as a hutch and then change the tuning to a lamp

You should change the alpha. Make the area you want to make transparent gray. Not black or white. It depends on how transperant you want it to be of course.

The easiest way to do this, as jpcope said, is to clone something that has a glass part and a non-glass part. Such an object will usually have an extra mesh group for the glass parts. You need to split your mesh so it has the same number of mesh groups as whatever you cloned. Then replace the solid group of that object with your solid mesh and the glass group with your glass mesh. Make sure to assign the right cut numbers to each before saving the .blend. Since you're making a new mesh lamp, the optimal clone is a base game lamp that has a glass part and a solid part.

My bad the happy panda light only good for cut outs so use the hutch instead
