Hi everyone! Sorry for the long absence but university takes most of my time and energy. Today I took a break and decided to make a simple recolor of some trees. After I tested my package into the game I've noticed that trees have different textures for different qualty of the mesh and some other things. I want to do a good job so I've a bunch of questions, if anyone could help. 1) I have to do separate recolors for every quality of the mesh, if the main color is slightly different due to different textures, is it very noticiable? (I mean slightly darker or desaturated) 2) I've made 13 different packages for different trees and then joined them into one. In the game some trees' previews correspond to the actual recolor, others show the original item. Is this a problem of point 1 or 2 or something else? 3) I'm from Italy and my language setting is Italian but the recolors show title and description in English. Is there a way to make them change automatically? (I didn't change nothing of them because the trees are the same) 4) Is there a way in which I can do swatches of a tree? Instead of creating a new item like I did (I don't remember if there are any swatches in the plant section of the game) I think these are all my questions for now, otherwise I can add them later.

1 - No 2- I don't know 3 - yes Open pkg file, Tools/Modding/Copy string tables to all languages. Change the text value in the language table you want. 4 - Not to my knowledge

Thank you for the answer! I was able to recolor low quality meshes and change the preview (after clearing it several time) but it seems to works only with separated pkgs. Anyway, I did what you said for the language and after I click "Copy...languages" s4s opens a window saying "done". I save the package and put it in my mod folder but the description is still in English. I've never used this tool and I don't know what it means and if I should do something else. I mean, after I clicked should it change the language automatically considering EA settings?

The function copies all English entries (numbers and text) into the tables. You will have to open the language table and add the translated text yourself. Edit entries button on right Then type in the translation of the English
