Well, I don't know how, but I managed to convert a hair I'd done for TS3 for use in Sims 4 for my own personal use...but it looks - I won't say bad, because it really doesn't look all that bad -- strange, no matter what I do to it. I've gone through the mini tutorial on changing shaders in S4S and the tutorial on how to fix transparency issues with Alpha/Glass hair, but it still comes out looking the same. I'm thinking it might be a texture issue, as I basically used the hair texture that was included in the main model, and it wasn't all that great to begin with. I've included pictures of the issues I'm having: You can really make out the hair's transparency here: So, I'm officially at my wits end -- can anyone help me out? EDIT: Here's the .package file that Orange Mittens requested I add. Hair File

If you post the .package, someone can take a look at it.

lmao fey, and wow that looks like a doozy!
Has this been solved yet?
Im going to look at it but i cant promise success, with ts4 the alpha hairs are very tricky, and sometimes it is completely dependent on the way the mesh is created. But sometimes, we can break it down, and build it back up. I can tell you one thing so far, in the first picture, it just looks like that part needs to be remapped. that part is simple, you can use blenders UV editor. to select a particular element (group), hold L in edit mode and hover over it, then you can edit.
I'm downloading it to see if i can fix your glass issue. Will get back to you soon, but in the meantime, have you seen my tutorial? There is a link in my signature. Fixing transparency issues with alpha/glass hair.

Hi laracroftfan1! This issue hasn't been solved yet, no. I was waiting until you checked it out and gave me suggestions before I did anything to it. Thank you for agreeing to take a look at it. The one problem you mentioned about the remapping, I'll go ahead and try to remap it. While you take a look at the mesh, I'll go over your tutorial again. If you are ultimately unable to fix the second issue, it's OK. I just thank you for trying to help me with my problem
