hi, welcome to the forum! The game's path seems to be incorrect. It should lead to origin's folder instead.

It should lead to origin's folder instead. heya ^^ thanks for the greeting they can't, because that's where i installed the game xD the drive where origin is installed didn't have enough space for the actual game, so i installed it in a custom location. that is, being 100% positive, where my game is installed. i'm sorry for taking so long to respond, i was only able to check it now

oh, then not sure what else could it be. Have you tried heading to your documents folder, renaming the sims 4 studio folder and letting the program re generate the folder? if that doesn't work then i'm not sure i can suggest anything else.
Maybe someone else knows more about it.

What about without the filters ? Can you find any other CAS part at all? Cause the filter is simply hiding what you don't want but originally shows you all the available CAS parts it is finding.
Did you check if the game didn't create another Sims 4 folder in your Sims 4 folder before creating everything it needs? Installer sometimes do that when you give a specific path at install. You never really know if they are not gonna create another subfolder in the one you selected when they install. Would then be something like this : G:\games -win7\The Sims 4\The Sims 4\ Maybe

inabadromance - just tried that, it did indeed re-create the folder.. but it still didn't work after i set the path again.. thanks anyway for trying =c Zelrish - even with all filters set to "all", nothing shows.. i thought it may be lag, while it reads everything in my folders, but nope. nothing shows up at all. it only had the one sims4 folder, documents version not-withstanding. i double-checked across all drives just to be sure, and opened the desktop shortcut's location as well. for example, the exe's path is set to G:\Games - Win7\The Sims 4\Game\Bin edit: don't suppose someone could extract all hair textures for children and toddlers for me for all packs and stuff packs? i wana make white versions of them so they actually look like my sim's kids x] (she has white hair) whY did maxis not include white hairs for toddlers and children is beyond me -.-;

Well, this is weird. You are probably not using the latest version of the game. Make sure to update it so that S4S re-index the game files.

I am not sure what you are trying to do. Is what you want a white recolor for each of EA's child and toddler hairs?

I am not sure what you are trying to do. Is what you want a white recolor for each of EA's child and toddler hairs? yes, precisely this. the two other mods i know of that has this make my game crash for some reason - and when i don't crash, they fail to actually stay white on children... whenever they change clothes, it changes to red

There is not really many ways to do this. You will need to either clone the hairs you wanna add a swatch to or override them. You can have a look at this tutorial. The interface is outdated in the screenshots but the concept behind is still the same. You basically choose : override (for example) Select the hair in the list and create the package Then you will see the different swatches. Simply export the diffuse texture, edit it in you 2D editing program (such as Photoshop) and create a new swatch where you will import your newly recolored texture. Save and copy the package in your mod folder and voilà. note : If you have no experience in editing photos and such, you might have a slightly hard time getting a nice white color for your hair as it is not the easiest color to attain while retaining all the contrast details. Also simply have a look a more than just the tutorial I linked, there are more available here
