Hi there! I'm having a slight issue and I'm sure it's easily solved! I had a good look through the tutorials here and some of the threads and couldn't quite find what I needed to know, so here we go!
I'm trying to extract the EA wine glasses from the buydebug catalogue and make them into a decorative object/accessory. I don't actually want the wine drinkable, I wanted to use it as a prop. Now I've successfully extracted the glass and it's an object, but there's no beverage in it! How do I get the wine to display in the glass as an object? Is it an effect I need to somehow turn back on?
Sorry if I'm asking a very silly question; but any help would be greatly appreciated!

hi! i searched for "nectar" on the debug catalog. None of them had thumbnails, but i picked the second one and extracted the mesh, it was the whine wine and the liquid was there. Maybe you picked an empty version?

The contents of the glass are and separate mesh added to the drinking object, at least that has been my experience. Not exactly sure how EA does it, but I can say for fact, that adding mesh works.

Okay, I'll have another look at it! I've pulled out all the nectar glass versions from DO. One of them should have the mesh in it. Of course I'll keep the empty as well! Thank you so much for the help. I thought I was being a bit daft.

I've managed to find the mesh part and resave it and load it back into the package, but now I can't find it in B/B mode. Yes, I assigned it a tag...I'm going to have to fight with this a little bit more, it seems. Thank you though for the help so far!

Yes, that's the one I originally followed, actually. I'm just cross checking it again and trying to see if there's anything obvious I've buggered up.

Okay! This one is resolved! I examined the mesh and moved the mesh cut from 0 to 1, made sure the liquid was part of the mesh, and double checked all the DevCatFlags. It's all working in my game now! Big thanks to all of you that helped! ^_^
