Hi everyone,
I'd like to increase the viewing distance for the High Mesh of a bed(before the Medium Mesh shows). The high mesh is showing only on a very short distance so it's rather obsolete, as most of the time only the medium mesh shows which doesn't look that good of course. The high mesh should be visible from everywhere in the same room.
Is it possible to change that setting somewhere in S4S?
Kind regards Oriana

You can change this in the Model resource in the Warehouse. Click on that resource and click the Lods: Click your High Detail LOD. On the right, you will see the MaxZ and the MinZ. The MaxZ is the point where the high LOD won't show up. The MinZ is the point where you first start seeing it. For this package (an EA default override with the numbers unchanged), you will see the high Lod at 0 distance away and it will persist out to about 20 of whatever increments EA uses (which has not been defined precisely). If you change the MaxZ to a larger number, you will see the high LOD further away. Once you've changed that, remember to change the medium and low LODs also, as needed. This item has a MinZ of a little over 18. That means that somewhere between 18 and 20 units from the item in the game, the high LOD will disappear and the medium one will show. Note the number overlaps a bit with the high LOD MaxZ. Most EA items have this overlapping setup, and it's probably to keep the item from flipping back and forth too much as players zoom around it. The MaxZ is essentially infinity. That means that you will see the medium LOD from all far distances away. This item has no low LOD so the MaxZ for the medium LOD covers all distances from the point where the high LOD fades to as far away from the item as the game will allow you to see it.
