Personally, I like Sims 3. Vote YOUR favorite, and tell us a little bit about why

Sims 3 is the one I've played the most and I really like it. It is just a lot of random stuff that always make me laught. Sims 1 was really fun at the time, but now is kind of off because of graphics, still a pretty amazing game.
I've heard Sims 2 is the glory of the saga but I haven't played it that much to know. Still I enjoy watching videos about it and there's a part of the comunity still active there so that's good. The CC has improved the gameplay too so definitely not dead yet.
Sims 4 is just meh... It's the one I've created more CC for, but that doesn't have to do with the game but with my enjoyment in 3d modeling that could fit any game.

Well, 2 years ago I would have said 4, because it was new and seemed to have promise, but after 2 years of playing, nothing has improved. Dine out and get together are jokes. They don't have Seasons, or Pets, or University Life... it is just "meh". I went back to 3 a week ago and love it. 3 for me!!!! By far

I hear a lot of people say 2 is the glory of the saga. while I myself prefer 3, 2 is a very good game. It didnt have open towns, but they were 3D animated (unlike 4) There werent any rabbithole buildings. You could also travel between towns and even create your own within the game. So while it may not be "glory" i do think its a very good game.

I think i've played sims 2 the most, then close is S3. Sims 2 was really well made, looked and felt sturdy. With a solid foundation, that's why all the EP's have a lot of gameplay and everything works as it should (i'm looking at you S4, yes you). Sims 3 had a lot of bugs, and the loading times were awful!. I'm the type of simmer that stays at home all day so i rarely followed them outside in the open... maybe at the end once paradise released. That was really fun. Dang, i miss all of that now.

Well I voted for the Sims 3 for a lot of aspects but I quite like the sims 4 too but for the wrong reasons. I like the sims 3 for the content, I dislike it for the loading time that are soooo loooooooong and the CAS loads as well all the time for so long on every categories. I like the sims 4 for the loading time and graphics but the content is just so poor and controversly I hate that the loading times are everywhere unnecessarily.

Sims 2 - Because you got MORE BANG, for your Buck. Each release was LOADED with SO MUCH to play with, and Mod. Those were great times, even with Milkshape... ;°).
Sims 4 - A Close 2nd, only because it MADE me sit down to learn about Blender, still Learning.

Well when I bought TS4 I was so excited, but now I have them for like 5 months and I'm like "meh." I think I will go back to TS3. I don't know about TS1 and TS2, because I never played them, but I really enjoyed TS3.[font face="impact"

While I desperately miss the sims 3 open world, cast, and world adventures (I LOVES YOU SHANGSIMILA) I picked sims 4 because of the multitasking and the sims seem so much more animated in 4. I love the sims 2 but the ai is so dense compared to sims 4 (I will watch tv, your about to starve to death,BUT TV) and I cant play without multitasking and the skill range.
In closing here's what I would like sims4 to have (but not holding my breath)
Sims2 50 story buildings woot woot Sims3 adjustable terrain, open world, cast

I loved TS2. It had special place in my heart that TS3 didn't fill in because I couldn't stand sim's appearance. Too bad because it looks like there was a lot of things to do in open world. But I just didn't like main characters and they mean a lot to me. TS4 has the best looking sims, imo. Too bad that it's lacking gameplay.

I chose Sims 2 and Sims 4. Sims 3 has a lot of lag due to the CASt but still ok to play. If however I had a better PC, I'd run All my Sims games on it but I don't unfortunately, so I'm sticking with Sims 4 for now!

The Sims 3 was my first Sims game and it's my favourite for many reasons. I really prefer the realistic graphics in the Sims 3 as it makes the sims and their actions look more credible in my eyes. The open world was also a big reason I preferred the Sims 3, although there were peformance issues because of Create a Style I found that it was far easier to control Sims when you don't have to wait between loading screens and hope that autonomy doesn't do anything weird with your off-screen Sim. I also thought the 5 traits system was also very influential on a Sim's personality in the game as there were lots of different advantages, disadvantages and actions that the traits provided. On the other hand, the 3 traits system in the Sims 4 just reminded me of perks in games like Call of Duty, since they mainly just provided buffs for the emotion system. Before the Sims 4 came out, the body sliders were a big advancement over the Sims 2, however the Sims 4 did introduced the click and drag system and adaptive skin overlays for the fat and muscle. I still don't think the Sims 4 is worth playing for those features though. I wished they added that stuff into the Sims 3 via a big patch.

I voted for TS3, but I actually enjoyed all sims games so far. The series got better and better with each new game - with sims 4 being the exception imho. The open world of TS3 introduced a whole new level of realistic gameplay. In general, the sims' lives mattered to me more than in the other games. The whole neighborhood felt like a big family and every sim had its place in that. Also, the create a style tool was probably the best addition to the game. TS3 had its flaws but it felt the most complete.
