if you're using a skin overlay on the sim, it could be that. that can sometimes interfere with other skin details. i loaded it into my game and it looks fine on my vanilla sim. and it's very pretty

I know that it looks good with lighter skinned sims, but not with darker sims, so I need to find a way to correct that so that it appears the same all across the skintone spectrum. Its great that it works for your sim, but I want it to be fair for anyone to be able to use and I want everyone to get the same quality nomatter what skintone they have. Yes, this is in the skin details category. But if your advice is that sometimes skin details conflict, I don't see how that necessarily applies in this case because the first swatch works perfectly, while others do not appear the same. Thank you though

it's probably the color choice. the first swatch probably is a lot brighter than any of the others on any skin tone just because it's brighter. realistically, each swatch should work better for certain skin tones. i don't think there's a way to make all swatches work for one skin tone. each color works well with certain other colors. while each swatch gets darker, it takes away from the luminosity. i think you should just brighten the colors some if you want it to be more bright.

At first I thought this as well, however, the first two swatches are literally super close in color. But one shows in full luminosity while the other shows as if it is a much darker swatch when it is not. That is when I realized that this is actually an issue somewhere.. I just need to find what it is.
