well first of all, if you're trying to make this transparent, you cannot have the body and mesh joined together. you need to divide what is going to be transparent and what's going to be opaque. and also, you need to have the shirt's uv somewhere else. it can't be on top of the body. you should probably put it underneath the arms, next to the body. also, if you're going to have two meshes in the workspace, one being the skin mesh and the shirt mesh, you need to have the correct cuts. s4studio_mesh_1 = cut 0000 s4studio_mesh_2 = cut 0001 there's a lot of things missing. please refer to this tutorial

If I put the uv map of the shirt underneath the arm next to the body, wont it conflict with the accesory textures? Because I really need a good space to place it so the texture of the shirt will show up high quality.

that's what happens with a game that doesn't code each texture individually, you're bound to have things conflict with others. mostly, only other clothing accessories and some tops are mapped there. so I don't see a problem. if you're unsure, you can create two versions mapped in different sections. but that requires twice the work since you'll have to do the textures twice.

you just cannot have it on the skin's uv. or else instead of showing transparency in game, it'll just show the skin's template.
