Hello, I am new to recoloring objects and would like to try something specific. I did find the tutorial on transparency but I am looking to add it only to part of an object. I have some doors that I would like to add transparency to a texture making the doors into ones that have stained glass panels with partial transparency. I noticed anything with glass panes has a second texture but I do not know how I would add a second texture to an object? I included an image below of the door I am working on for reference. Simply put I want to take these doors and add transparency to the center panels. Is it possible?

If you use a glass door you dont have to add transparency as it already has it, or am I missing something?

The doors do not have a glass panel. The door mesh I am using is solid I want to remove the center panel and add a glass mesh to it. The above image I just placed a texture that looks like glass but I would like some light to come through.
I'm really new at this so I am sorry if I am not using correct terminology :(

Just use a glass a door from the get go, otherwise you are creating work for yourself. Its 3000 times easier to edit the mesh of glass door if need be than to add glass to a solid door. I would not even now how to add glass to it.
