So I made a clay hair CC, in blender. I already added the weight paint and the vertex paint to the hair from a similar Maxis reference. As I like to try them in the game to see how my progress is, I did not make the hair compatible with a hat yet, nor make any adjustments to the vertices count for different LOD yet (a.k.a. I imported the same full mesh for the 4 LODs). But when i see the mesh in the 3D viewer of Sims4Studio, the original Maxis Hair still appear to be there. As I hear from some source that this might happen in the Studio but not in the game (I might be wrong here), I don't give any attention to this "extra" mesh since my mesh file don't have any Maxis hair in the beginning. So i continued with uploading the first 5 textures. And because I wanted to see my progress in the game as I said before, I save my package file and try to see the mesh in the game. However, my mesh does not show up at all, just the textures that I imported replaces the original Maxis hair. What did I do wrong? Can anyone help me, please? Thank you very much. hi! even if you haven't than the hat chops you must have the same amount of mesh groups (and cut numbers) as the original in your blend for each hair state to update properly.
you can re export the blend from this package and study which groups you're missing.
