Thank you so much for your input. I am familiar with this kind of coding and others (html xml etc) but its just been a while since i touched on it. I'll see what I can do! 👍👍
I've had the tv pick autonomously before and was tweaking that actually, and tbh I DID get my sims to autonomously watch TV LOL. XD
but the problem was that she was only watching sports so I might've did something wrong there so I'm checking it out.

Hello, I am trying to make a small adjustment where a sim automatically goes to the tv like how they seem to always go to the computers/bookcases. How can I increase the autonomy for the TV and decrease the autonomy for the Computers and Bookcases in the code? Do I need an interaction or an object tuning, or both? Thank you!
These are the interaction tunings that I found: - PickChannelAutonomously - WatchCurrentChannelAutonomously - tv-watch-comedy (just an example to see if the sim was going to automatically turn on the tv to watch comedy but nope). I have an object tuning to go with this too (TVChannel_Comedy) - TV_WatchRandomChannel

Then too, since I am still quite new to this kind of coding, I'm trying to figure out what some things mean in the coding, like t=, n=, m=, all that for example. Broadcasting, v=, L=, and buffs too (I think I actually know what buffs mean). I am looking through the tutorials, but I still don't seem to get it lol. xD
Like, I do understand how to tune objects and make them behave differently, it's just the other stuff I listed. x3

Sorry for replying late. But I wanted the kids to stay in the household when the parents have passed. Usually when something happens to the parents, the children get taken away, and it's game over. I don't want that to happen though (I want the story to continue lol). Specifically I'm trying to remove the Game Over screen, or actually, the function to where the children get taken away. I do believe I have found the correct files in the Extracted resources folder, but I don't know. I'm not sure. x3 I can show the edited coding later if you want me to as well.

Is there a tutorial here explaining how to tune or edit something that isn't necessarily an object?
Plus, is there a way to delete something from the game, like words, or like a text box that automatically shows up when something happens?
And one more question. When trying to find a certain code in the Extracted Resources folder, how do I know which one is the right one that I'm looking for?
Thanks in advance, I had to edit this post a lot. C:

All right then, thanks for the suggestions. I do know how to code a little bit, but stuff like this I need to learn. x3 Thanks though.

Sure, I'll continue to look at the tuning tutorials. Here is the link to the mod: www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=545436Like I said, I wanted to update it but decided against it because I didn't ask yet (the owner hasn't been on in a while, and I don't think he mods anymore). So maybe I could make my own, or just update the one in the link. What do you suggest? And still, I'll look at the tutorials. I seem to not get some of the tuning methods, so I will continue to look at them.

Sorry for late reply... x3 Anyways, I downloaded a mod from ModTheSims, where the child doesn't get deleted if his/her parents have passed on. I was going to update it but decided against it, so now, I want to make one myself, where the child stays in the household even after the parents death, or just without an older sim, nor a nanny. I now just want to know where to start in order to make it. Thanks. (hope this is understandable though. x3)

Hello. I'm not quite new to this forum. In fact, I've been here for a while, but haven't commented at all. So anyways, I have a mod that's completely outdated, like 2015 outdated, and I wanted to update it, fix, batch, patch, or whatever, in order for it to work. What specifically do I need to do in order to fix it correctly? I believe there's a topic about something like this, but I usually not on this site all the time, so I need to look around on this site a bit more, but some help would be appreciated. Thanks!
