Wow, that was superfast tutorial editing! Thank you for your speedy reply and for clearing that up. I shall do a bit more investigating to see if I can solve the question mark issue, now I know it's not to do with the s4studio_mesh_1, and if not I shall get back to you with a copy of the file to see if you can spot my mistake! Many thanks.

Thank you for these excellent tutorials.
I am a bit stuck at step 40/41. When you delete the vertices of the EA mesh in edit mode, there is still the central dot left when you return to object mode, and the object (s4studio_mesh_1) is still present in the overview (it can be seen in your image for step 45). Is this correct or should the object be deleted entirely?
The first time I did this, I deleted the whole EA mesh object in object mode (because I was being cocky and not following your instructions properly!), but I was able to import it into the package with no problems. However, when I tested my object in game, it had a big question mark over the thumbnail and could not be placed. The only thing I could see that I had done differently to you was step 41 and so I thought that by deleting the whole object I had caused the question mark error.
So, I started again, this time making sure to only delete the vertices of s4studio_mesh_1 in edit mode, but basically leaving the object in tact, as you seem to have done in the pictures above. However, now when I try to import it into the package I get an error message (it looks like the same error message about missing UVs which was mentioned by penelope and zonbka in part IV of this tutorial).
So, perhaps I was right the first time, but if so, do you have any ideas what could be causing the question mark error in game? (Have you ever seen that before?)
Many thanks.
