What are you trying to do? Where do you select "custom in the CAS"?

If 2.79 doesn't work for you (exports empty file with the lamps only) then 2.78 won't work too. Either 2.70 or 2.76 will work for you as a bridge in Studio.

We can't do anything with just one file. What file do you import .blend in? Share that file, and if someone knows they will reply.

When you save as .dds click "generate mipmaps" option. It will generate the file with the main and 3 smaller maps that are rendered by the game when you zoom out. If you don't tick this option there are no smaller texture maps in the file, and game renders the sim without textures.

When you want to cancel tops removing necklaces just change both entries in region maps (in the necklace) from chest and shadow to base, and layer number to 0 for each CAS part. Game will start reading all lods as base items.

Use either 2.76 or 2.70 version of Blender as a bridge. I have the same issue with everything over 2.76.

Next time please share 2 files: .package and .blend. In Blender change to solid mode and you will see similar hard edges on your mesh. Select all, press W and choose "Remove doubles".
