Hello. I don't know if this is the right thread, but I also don't know where else to post this. So I have this problem: a couple of years ago, I posted on this thread asking for help to get rid of some unwanted shadows after I modified a CC wedding dress. Well, I lost the file from then, so I decided to do it again. This time however, after I got rid of the unwanted shadows, the texture of the dress changed and it looks almost like crumpled paper. So this is the dress: imgur.com/G8KbckAAnd this is how it looks like after I modified it: imgur.com/genssOvCan someone help me please? Thank you in advance.

So I got a nice dress from Colores Urbanos but it had a ribbon that I didn't want: I removed the ribbon from the arms using blender but when I tried the dress in game I got this: So now I'm stuck with that annoying shadow on the arms. How can I remove it? Thanks in advance.

im confused. are you telling me the blend file you sent me is what is in your package? because your silk robe that had the name modified in it was perfectly fine and should have worked in game. The package with the name modified is the package I created after doing everything I was supposed to do in Blender AND S4S. If you can, test it in your game and tell me if it works. maybe it's just my game having issues. Because I've been trying to make some standalone recolors of CC hair these days and when testing them in game, they required the original meshes to show up properly, which never happened before, any standalone recolor I did before worked perfectly fine.

gabbi777 you didn't send me the whole blend file. you only sent me the part of the robe you want to be transparent, not the whole entire robe. but on your package file, it looks like you've done everything right. you have to put it in your game to see the transparency. The blend file I sent you, I followed the steps in the tutorial and did everything I was supposed to in Blender and I sent you the file afterwards. I already tried the package in game but the robe is not transparent. I don't know what else I could do

gabbi777 it's hard to tell what the problem is without a picture or package and blend file. can you also elaborate on what went wrong? I don't know what went wrong, I followed the tutorial step by step and when I finished, the robe looked just like in the beginning, nothing was changed.

Hello everyone! So, I tried to make a transparent robe using this tutorial, but I didn't get the result I wanted. I'm a beginner and I don't know much about meshes so I was hoping someone could help me.
