It was a dining table. It's okay, I finally succeeded importing the mesh . I exported the original mesh from S4S to Blender. Then, I imported my custom mesh from an obj file. I deleted the original mesh and I renamed the groups of my custom mesh (like the original ones) and modified the "cut number" (well it's the group number if I understand). I saved. I imported the mesh in S4S. I tested my dining table in the game, it worked perfectly . I would like to thank you, dear moderators, for your patience and your answers . Jim.

My mesh has no "cut". The S4S CAS Tools tab is empty

So I deleted the 2.78 version and installed the 2.70. I'm now able to export from S4S a mesh and see it in Blender. But when I import in S4S a custom mesh it's like nothing happen : the mesh doesn't change.

It doesn't work. The ".blend" file I exported from a cloned object (cloned with S4S) seems to be empty when I import it in Blender. And when I want to import a custom mesh in S4S I got an error message (cf. my previous message).
S4S developers may think about a second way to import/export meshes because blender is not at all intuitive and very complicated.

I don't agree with you inabadromance : my mesh in MS3D is ready to import ; there's nothing else to do but import it (like I said I use MS3D for years). I usually use TSRW to create new objects but the recent patch broke it. So I was looking for a second solution.

I tried. I exported the mesh from MS3D in a ".ms3d" file and imported it in blender. Then I saved the mesh in a ".blend" file. In S4S I imported this mesh and got this error :
"The Sims 4 Studio - Version 3.0.0.8 System.AggregateException: Une ou plusieurs erreurs se sont produites. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Le fichier 'C:\ProgramData\S4Studio\Scripts\48e53d88-6d03-44e3-8aec-f51de91656ed\s4s.out.mlod' est introuvable. à System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) à System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy, Boolean useLongPath, Boolean checkHost) à System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share) à System.IO.File.OpenRead(String path) à S4Studio.ViewModels.ObjectLodItem.ImportMesh(BlenderUtilities blender_util, String blender_path) dans C:\Sims\Studio\Sims4Studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio.Shared\ViewModels\BuildBuy\Objects\ObjectLodItem.cs:ligne 476"

Hi everyone,
I really hate blender and I understand nothing about it ; I use MilkShape 3D for years. But I can only import with Sims4Studio ".blend" files for meshes. Does exist any plugin to fix that ?
Jim.
