Hello, I am not sure if this is the correct forum to ask, so I apologize if it is not. I wanted to create a mod that sorts CC by Outfit Type and Sub Part Type for CAS cc. I have found something close here, but the category types are stale and have not been updated since May 2021. I notice that S4 Studio keeps these lists updated and I wanted to know how it does this. If this is some top secret sauce, I will understand. Can it be extracted from the latest TDESC files from EA? Thanks again.

Hi Orangemittens, I tried the studio.ImportAll cheat and it only imports files named 'Swatch_X_Diffuse_1' (substitute X for image/file number). It does not import Shadow or Specular files, but these can be done easily in Studio. Still, it is very useful. Good job so far!

Hi Orangemittens, If we use the cheat studio.exportall, will the Batch Import button be able to match the exported files to their original sources? Thanks, Erasimus

I just wanted to thank all of the kind folks that gave their time and talent for giving all of us such an easy to use tool as Sims4Studio. I just finished merging 22,821 package files of 80 gigs down to 337 files of 40 gigs, which cut my load time from 15+ minutes to 2 1/2! Here is what I do, in case you're curious: 1. I download all of my cc and mods to a download folder so that I can keep track of what I have downloaded. 2. I copy all of the .package files to a staging folder. 3. I run all of the Sims4Studio batch fixes on the custom content in the staging folder. 4. I merge the packages in the staging folder by creator name and copy to the game folder. That's it.

Hi Navigatr, I am fairly certain that Sims4Studio is an .NET WPF application and from what I have found here, WINE will not run applications created with WPF. WINE is using a stripped down version of .NET (called MONO) which while cross platform (Linux/MAC/etc), does not come with all features used in Windows. Hope that helps, Erasimus

Hello, I have been upsizing my CC I have collected over the years to work with Alf-Si's HQ mod and I have run into an odd problem. I am seeing this: At first, I thought it was something I did, but when I downloaded it again from here: link
But, when I opened it, I saw that it was already like this: Is there something I can do about this? Thanks, Erasimus

I think what wintersnow is experiencing is that she is using the Animation > Clip Override to export EA animations. It has been my experience that not all clips that are listed in the override list actually export the EA motion and default to a blank blend file, such as 'a2o' animation clips. However, as inabadromance has stated, you can get EA animations if you create a Clip Pack, select the Clips tab, select the EA Clip option and click the Export button. It will have fewer clips to select from, but the EA motion will be exported correctly. Hope that helps!
