Your paintings look great! I like them all but Watercolor 2 is my favorite. Great work!

Hi! I need someone to check out my latest rug recolors. I cloned these from EA's Nom de Plume Antiqued Rug. I have done several recolors from that rug, but this time, I increased the size and footprint to 4 x 4 (instead of EA's 3 x 3). Also, I added some texture directly to the images with GIMP's bump map and bevel filters, and I replaced EA's normal/bump map with one made specifically for my rugs. The rugs look fine and work fine in all detail levels in my game but I want to make sure they will work for everyone. If you'd like to check them out, let me know and I'll send you the dropbox link by PM.
Thanks!

Hi! My name is Tina aka Christina51. I've been using Sims 4 Studio and hanging around the site for a few months now but I never got around to introducing myself.
I am retired and living in Virginia. I started playing Sim City when it first came out and then moved on to Sims 1 when it came out. I was an avid player and lot builder in Sims 1 and 2 but didn't start publishing my houses until Sims 3. I fell in love with Sims 3's Create-a-Style tool and, then, with all the wonderful custom content that was available. When Sims 4 came out, I loved the building features but was really disappointed that it didn't have the Create-a-Style tool. I continued publishing my houses but, after awhile, I really got bored using the same old EA furnishings. While there's a lot of custom content coming out now, most of it is more modern in style than what I want. I build traditional/colonial/Victorian style houses and CC in those styles is hard to come by, so I ended up using the same CC over and over again. The only solution was to start creating my own CC. So, here I am, and now I'm hooked. I've only done a few recolors but I love it! S4S is so easy to use and everyone here is so helpful. It really is a pleasure to work with all of you!
If you'd like to see my Sims 3 & 4 lots, they are published under Christina51 at TSR. I've published a few of my rug recolors there also and at MTS under the same name since I know some people have trouble with downloading from TSR. I really hope you'll take a look at my creations. If anyone that doesn't use TSR is interested in a particular lot, just let me know and I'll publish it on MTS for you.

Hi MisterS! Here's an update to the GIMP normal map instructions I gave you. You only need to add the alpha channel (3rd step) if your image doesn't already have one. If your image already has one, the selection at Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel will be grayed out. If that's the case, just move on to the next step.

Hi! I need someone to check/test my first object recolors for me (rugs). I have tested in game and they look/work fine for me but I'd like to make sure they will work on other machines. If you're willing, let me know and I'll PM you the link to the files. Thanks so much!

Christina, the issue that Trudie had was the result of Sims 4 Studio retaining the original EA .package structure. This has been changed in the latest version of Studio to allow for smaller .packages. If you reclone the rug and import the same images you have already made you should not run into this problem again. The latest version is here: www.sims4studio.com/thread/562/sims-studio-flora-open-beta Thank you! I'll try that version.

I make some carpets (rugs) And finely got it right. Its approved by TSR. I just import my own pattern on the ea pattern (DST image) and walla it was so easy as that. I think I am having the same problem you had. I created a rug that I plan to submit to TSR, too. The Warehouse tab for my creation shows a DST image with my rug pattern and also a DST image with one of the original EA rugs patterns. Are you saying that I should just import my rug pattern to replace the pattern on the EA DST image just like I did to create my rug pattern in the first place?
