Hi! So I cropped a base game dress in order to turn it into a top and everything is fine, but there's a strange shadow on the back. There was a hole and I used "extrude region" tool in Blender to fill it and I think that this action caused the texture to look like this. Do you have any helpful tips? What should I do to get rid of this shadow? It's really bothering me :( Thank you in advance!

Feyona Hi, I have another question. Do you know how to choose which parts of a texture I want to recolor? I mean, I'd like to recolor the whole texture, but there's a button that I want to stay in its color. Any advice?

Feyona Oh, I didn't. I haven't known anything like this before. Do you know where I can download it?

Hi! I want to make a simple recolor of a certain top, so I exported its texture to DDS. But when I run Photoshop and I try to open this file, there's a window saying that it won't work etc. What am I doing wrong? :/ And do you know any tutorials on recoloring in PS, especially using actions? Thank you!

Thanks for a really helpful tutorial, but I have a problem. I don't have the "RLE 2" file, there are only "CAS Part" files. What did I do wrong? :(

Thank you, inabadromance. I tried to go on with working on that mesh, but I gave up. And then I decided to edit another mesh - this time I wanted do shorten a top, and, I think I actually did. But there are some weird shadows around the Sim's waist and arms. Do you have any ideas what I can do with them? Thank you in advance I'll be grateful for any solution.

Hi. I have edited a dress from Romantic Garden SP and I turned it into a top. But, as you can see, there are weird shades on her legs, and the top isn't attached to the body. It collides with the body everytime a Sim moves. Plus, the arms are too close to the body. You can see the top below that isn't made longer yet. I don't understand why there's an empty place even though everything seems okay in Blender. I do realise it's probably a dumb problem, but I really want to finish this top. I'd be very grateful if anybody helped me. Ask me if something isn't clear. I just don't have an idea what went wrong.
