I don't think there can be a batch fix for slots, this is down to creators, like myself or EA fixing it. Meanwhile if it creates a problem take it out until a fix is found
What's wrong with slots? I haven't seen anything about this.
It was crashing my game to desktop. I'm not sure if there are other issues too, but that was pretty bad.

I keep getting a Last Exception report. I thought it was a conflict with a custom trait and some other pet-related mods (LittleMsSam), so I deleted those but now the only mod referenced in the LE is this one, sadly. It's my favorite, too.

I've also downloaded the S4S update and couldn't see an option. What I've done as a fix (and my CC baths all function fine) is to open the bath in S4S and select the Rig type. Edit items on the Bones segment, then select b__subroot__0, click Copy and rename it to b__subroot__1. Save the package and it works fine for me. ohmygosh, I am SO very happy! I'm not a modder at all, but there are a few bathtubs that creators haven't yet updated and I was getting tired of using only the EA tubs. So... I backed up my files and waded in. Once I was in and completed one conversion, I tested in-game and actually squealed (loudly...ask my cat)! It worked! So I finished the rest. I even had to figure out how to un-merge some files and that (posted by OM in another thread) was easy too! So thank you, thank you all! I can now play happily again. All that you modders/creators do is highly appreciated.
