Hey violin The poseplayer is a scripted mod. That means you cannot put it within too many sub folders or the script will not be seen by the game. Put the package and the script (TS4script) directly in the mod folder (without subfolders) And don't unzip the TS4script file or it will not work. Make sure you downloaded the latest version from the poseplayer (there is another one for added pets)

Simply look at how many mesh group are present on the base mesh you cloned. (export the base cloned mesh in blender and look how many groups there is and how they are numbered)

MD meshes technically need to be retopologized to look good in game with the sliders. Very few people actually do it because it is a time consuming process which is not so rewarding. You kinda loose the "advantages" from MD.
But in the sims 4, MD meshes looks spiky when deformed as the topology is crappy

I just did. Read my post. You cannot safely manually renumber CC IDs. You have to clone it as I described.

It's really just as I said. Usually when you create a mesh from scratch or in this case when you import a .obj in blender. The uv map where it is mapped is named: uvmap You simply need to rename this uv map named uvmap into uv_0 before joining the meshes (by double clicking the name). Ideally you also want to create the uv_1 before joining the meshes so that the uv_0 and uv_1 merge together.

Hi BTM This usually happens when you don't rename the uv map of the .obj into uv_0 before joining them. You would end up with an object with uv_0 and uv_1 from the s4s object and uvmap from the .obj/non s4s object. At least it is the most common reason for this to happen.

You can clone one of then, that will give it a unique ID
Copy the package into the mod folder from S4S which should be in : my documents/sims4studio/mods then start Studio and choose create you mesh or standalone (I kinda always go for new mesh here :p) Use the drop down menu to select the CC content Select all the swatches from the copied package that should be appearing here. Create the new package. Then, simply save, exit, go copy the new package and put it in your mod folder. This actions will have created the same package as the one you cloned but with a different ID in game, that way it is correctly a different package.
You just need to see which one of the two you should clone so that it works properly. Maybe the one that you cannot equip atm.

Hi subiraaxx This sounds more like a hardware issue or outdated drivers than anything else. By hardware issue I mean more that your configuration is not powerful enough to smoothly run the game. So, if it used to work properly before: The very first thing to try is to run the game without mods. Move your mod folders somewhere else and start the game. Maybe a seriously outdated mod is wrecking your performances. You could check if you have any last exceptions in the sims4 folder as well. Then update windows and your graphic drivers if there are not up to date. It could also be that updated graphic drivers are the ones causing the issue, in which case, maybe a driver roll back would help. It depends if you remember updating them before the issue appeared or not. Also : Change your graphic options in the game. Try lower graphics to see if it helps at all. (for the in game lag at least). Do you have the issue with any other game or just the sims? Is the computer generally slower lately?

Because you set the limit of active families to 150. That means sims families you actually play. If you always stick with the same 8 family members without ever controlling any other sims then you indeed have 8/150
On the town view there is a button to see all families. Active, in world and not in world. This 150 limit just concerns the active one.
The sims generation for the whole world is set up in the culling parameters I believe. Not sure exactly where but you can change that with MC command center. That means the game will delete townies without family and/or homeless with no interactions with anyone etc. But will regenerate some when you go to a venue so that you get bartenders etc.

Hey there xglitzz Everything that regards MTS and Scumbobumbo's tools are questions that should be addressed directly at MTS. We only support S4S. That also means that about the bone constraints you are better off with blender tutorials as well than asking here. Although I had a look at it myself in the past and I believe the issue is in the way the sim's rig is rigged (with extremely small bones) in comparison to most tutorials where bones connect to each other hence it is quite simple to add IK. About exporting a pose I tested it just now, created a clip pack > name > go to clip tab > select EA Clip on the export menu > selected a random computer clip > hit export I had the animation properly in the blend file afterwards. Not sure how it went wrong for you. I know I had the issue as well a couple months ago but I could solve it. I was doing something wrong, but don't remember what. Maybe make sure you are using the latest version of S4S for your OS.

Hi hannahbanana2222Simply use override instead of clip pack when you create the package at the very start.
