Hi, I have run into a little problem at step 6 and 7. {Spoiler - before unwrapping:} {Spoiler - after unwrapping:} {Spoiler - weird warping when creating new image like in step 7: } {Spoiler - resulting oversized and wrongly positioned normal map:} I don't think this is correct. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks! You’ve been a massive help. Does it matter what order I do things in? Recolours/texture maps, diffuse maps, normal maps etc etc.

Quick question, am I meant to press save after importing a mesh/texture/map etc in order to see the change? For obivous reasons I don't like saving when I'm unsure if I've done something right but at the moment saving, exiting and reloading the .package file is the only way to see the change. Is this how its meant to work?
As the title says, I'm using Sims 4 Studio 1.2.1.3 (Candy Apple).

do you even have a s4s model? when i open the package it looks fine.
Yes, I'm back with more questions. I'm really on the verge of giving up with this but I don't want to. For a very well written start to finish tutorial, I didn't come out with a finished piece of cc. As you can see from the picture, My top has black blotches. I don't know if thats the diffuse, normal or my mesh causing the problem, they're all just random meaningless words to a complete newbie like me. I even completed this tutorial ( normal/bump map baking in blender by SLYD) and it made no difference. *pulls hair out* What tutorials should I look at after completing this one to end up with a finished piece of CC?

okay so for some reason it is showing now... STRANGE. i opened the .package from my desktop as opposed to through s4s. possible bug maybe?

i really want to refrain from uninstalling s4s since i had issues getting it to recognise blender which i don't want to go through again.

yes there's a model but it only shows the old camisole top. it's nice to see its working for someone. what do you think the issue could be then? seems like a problem with my s4s.

yes, i edited my post here, sorry for the confusion. where do i get this? or how? i don.t even know what that is. (rofl) this guide didn't go through that in detail. edit: i imported my bakedtexture.png into the diffuse. again no change apart from this: {picture here:} the model still shows the camisole top.

thank you both, it seems there is no 'textbook' way to do this. i will try playing around and cutting things up like suggested.

all steps completed! i followed the tutorial quite closely. literally just the last step (importing back to S4S) causing the real trouble.
