Its fine, I purposely put the jacket uv in hat section because I wanted it to be an accessory to add with other tops. Putting the jacket uv in the top section isn't really a option for me since i have 3 other tops to pair it with. I'll just live without a normal map lol. But thanks for the help!

Try remaking your NM but crop it to 1024x512 to the top, and if it doesn't work try making it 1024x2048. You placed your uv map in an area dedicated for accessories, so you need to experiment with the size of NM. yeah sadly none of the sizes worked, i even tried the ea size for the hat normal map which was 512by256.. and it still didn't work.

I'm using PS, I clicked on the first DXT1 but I'm guessing since it says no alpha that might be the reason why? but I did the second DXT1 and no luck :/ (the 1-bit version makes the map have a weird texture anyway)

Yeah I'm having that problem, immediately after I save the .dds file and reopen it again the alpha turns white >//<

Um, I've actually been reading that tutorial already... I made sure the alpha channel was gray, exported as .dds and it's 1024x, still don't why it shiny :/
