Sorry for asking but I couldn't find an answer in tutorials, any help is appreciated. Here's my issue step by step: Start with this EA mesh: Photoshop out the nametag on the left and badge on the right: Delete the nametag mesh and create new mesh faces over where the badges had covered up holes: Insert it all back into s4s, make blank shadow/spec/normal/emission, looks good so far: But in CAS, these weird shiny bits are exactly where I added new mesh faces: But in-game it's fine? I'm just trying to figure out what's causing it. Here's a link to the actual mesh I'm working on. Thanks again for any help or suggestions

I see that all of your swatches have "black" color tag. Try updating all swatches with correct color tags. Don't click "apply to all swatches", just choose correct color tag, untick "black" and click on another swatch, save .package when you are done. Each swatch should have just one tag. See if it helped. Thanks, I'll give it a try, I did remake the package (before reading your reply) and it does work nowI'll still try what you're suggesting though because I would really like to figure out what causes it

Ok so this has happened to me a few times now, I always just 'fix' it by remaking the whole package but this time it did it twice in a row and I'd really like to know what causes it So I make the package, (it's a conversion of an adult hair mesh to a toddler hair): Cas: I choose the red hair and... Bam, back to default black, which is the color I did the original mesh in, if it matters

Ok so, it definitely was from updating my blender, I even tried 2.76 first and still had the issue, I had to roll-back all the way to 2.70 to get it to stop. I'll leave this thread up in hopes others can learn from my dumbness

So I just read in another thread that somethings funky with weights and the new blender (which I just installed two hours ago), I'm going roll-back and update if that fixes it.

I don't even know how to phrase this. I've done a few other hairs and not had this problem (I think it's come up in clothes and I just 'fix it' by deleting it and starting over. I'd really love to know what causes this though: Package file: 1drv.ms/u/s!AqoFjo_K67m6xi1amzaxaHMi3Fio

I made a child top and bottom replacement that should work, let me know if they don't. There should be an invisible tank top on the top and tighty whiteys on the bottom
