I would love a tag or some sort of a toggle to make objects work off the grid

pyre Thank you! Your findings combined with the tuning tutorial helped and I can now make my CC lights work off the grid. I suspect a similar thing would work with CC bathtubs, toilets, showers, and cooking appliances?

I cloned the base game underwear (the fancy lingerie) for it! It was actually suggested in another thread I had here or in a Discord server. It has one mesh group because I don't want to cut it up and reassemble it every time I need to adjust weights or something. The yellow is actually the other color the game uses for clothes! It makes the clothes that aren't skintight scale with the body. I'll probably try to make a less messy UV_1 but in my experience it actually works fine even when it looks like that.
Edit: I used the Ayla outfit, and with the first try tried to put the shoulder pads into a separate group but it came out broken. I then imported my armor and left the hands from the original mesh and it actually works!!!!
Thanks for the suggestions!!!!

hi! I'm making yet another conversion from SWTOR, and following my usual process (using the base game lingerie to import the outfit like it was advised in an earlier thread, a method I never really had persistent problems with before) but no matter what I do with the weights, the right foot keeps appearing like it's not weighted at all. The vertex painting, the Uv_1. and the rest of the weights are fine? As you can see, her right foot just shoots up into the stratosphere as if it doesn't have weights at all, even though it does. Here's the file (the blend included in the archive with the package.)Maybe there's something i'm missing. I think I'll let it rest for now and then try re-importing the mesh into a new package?

A set of 4 hairs from the game Star Wars: the old Republic As always with the conversions, I take no credit for the original meshes and textures, as they were created by the artists at Bioware Austin. Features: ~ Meshes extracted from SWTOR by me ~ Textures extracted from SWTOR, painted over and recolored by me ~ Teen-elder ~ Human, vampire, alien ~ Found in medium hairs, under the feminine tag ~ However, the hairs work for all gender\frame combos, but there might be some clipping ~ Disabled for random ~ All LODs + hat chops ~ Fairly low poly ~ Maxis colors +18 bonus colors + black'n'white recolor ~ All hairs are independent of each other ~ BGC #Hair #Hair mesh #BGC #MM #Maxismatch #Maxis match #MM hair #clay hair #hair conversion #swtor conversion #swtor

An update of one of the eyecolor sets I have made. I've updated the textures and swatch colors a little, so it matches my Bright Eyes set. It's toddler-elder, enabled for vampires and aliens, SHOULD be disabled for random. Has 62 swatches. !!! IF YOU HAVE THE OLD VERSION OF THIS, IN THE FILE TITLED VOIDDEMONEYES1.PACKAGE , DELETE IT AND REPLACE IT WITH THIS ONE !!!

Hey, I made it really long ago, but it wasn't well made so I never shared it.
I don't know if I still have it.

There's a separate file for the emission map. I think the alpha channel is responsible for how quick it fades and flares up, so if you want eyes with a constant glow, your best bet is to leave the alpha channel the way it is. Also it would probably be easier to export it as DDS because while you CAN use PNG with transparency, it would mean you'd have to apply that transparency to the texture itself as in taking your layer and lowering its transparency. And that would make working with that texture really cumbersome because you'd have to go to the layer settings and change it back and forth if you want to do any changes. BTW if you struggle with text, there's a video on how to add light to clothing made by Bakie in a thread here: sims4studio.com/thread/3216/video-tutorial-dynamic-clothing-updatedBasically you have to have a DDS file with a pure black alpha channel and the glowing stuff on the RGB channel on a black background.

Thank you!
It wasn't that much of editing as much as it was stitching several screenshots into one long image.
Well, and some posing.

A thread separate from my gameplay, for edits I made using Sims 4 screenshots. I'll start with this thing I made of my Dread Master sims.

I feel like I totally abandoned this thread in favor of posting gameplay on TUmblr but since I decided to not use Tumblr for Sims anymore, I will try to post some pics here... Here are my favorite screenshots in a while: { A LOT OF IMAGES!} Yeah V, this is why people are terrified of youHe foresees people doing things IN FRONT OF HIS FERNSUtterly terrifying.

A fancy dress with or without the gold trims in a small selection of colors and color combinations. There are 2 packages, 1 with gold trims, and 2 without them, in different combinations of black, white, red, and dark blue. The packages have custom icons, and are disabled for random. #dress #recolor #mm #mm clothes #clothes #mm retexture

I love this dress but it had just one swatch so I made some recolors. There are 4 packages in the set: solid colors with the original leaves, with gold leaves, and with silver leaves, and gradient colors with the original leaves. Teen elder, feminine frame only (i mean it works on masc. frame but there are, uuh, some interesting mesh changes to say the least), disabled for random and situation. The packages are standalone, but require the mesh, and have custom icons. Note: the solids + original leaves package doesn't have a white recolor because the white color action I used looks very similar to the white swatch the dress came in originally.
